If universities have the lion’s share of intelligence, research capability and resources you’d expect them to lead the rest of the nation’s built environment in sustainable design, innovation and facility management. And at their best they do.
This feature proves Australia’s tertiary sector knows that their campuses signal talent and excellence to their global marketplace. There is also coverage of schools which are likewise rising to the modern challenges of education.
But there are also challenges and this feature is not just a celebration of the great, but a warts and all look at the reality of managing such massive facilities.
