BRIEF: Nissan Australia on Tuesday said it had a grant from the Victorian Government for its electric vehicles research in partnership with CSIRO and Delta Energy Systems. As part of an election driven burst of support for many things sustainable, the VicGov has allocated

$210,000 from its New Energy Jobs Fund aimed to create long-term sustainable jobs, to “increase the uptake of renewable energy generation, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and drive innovation in new energy technologies”.

“The Delta-designed system will undergo tests to confirm its performance in various environmental conditions in the temperature control chamber at the CSIRO Monash facility,” a statement from Nissan said.
