Professor Holliday has over two decades of board level experience across the public, private and not for profit sectors, including the Hume Community Housing Association, the Urban Policy Forum, National Housing Supply Council, Building Professionals Board NSW (President), Planning Institute of Australia (President) and Built Environment Industry Innovation Council (Chair).
Her executive roles include the Director General of Planning NSW, the Director of City Strategy at DEGW Asia Pacific and Professor of Planning Practice at UNSW.
“We welcome Sue Holliday to the board of Consult Australia,” Consult Australia president Andrew Mather said. “She brings further diversity to the board, and her experience in the government and education sectors will inform our advocacy debates.”
Consult Australia chief executive Megan Motto said Professor Holliday brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the board.
“It’s a perfect fit for Consult Australia and I look forward to working with a board which will be further strengthened by Sue’s input,” she said.
Professor Holliday said she was delighted to join the board.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to the important debates facing the consulting industry and to bringing my background in government, education, urban policy and planning to these discussions,” she said.
Her recent UNSW Utzon Lecture envisaged a plan to make Sydney a more workable city.
