New Mirvac Folia apartment building in the Apartments of Tullamore precinct in Doncaster. in Melbourne’s north-east

BRIEF: Mirvac is using distribution technology called SOLSHARE to allow apartment residents to share power from a single solar system in a new Folia apartment building in Melbourne’s north-east.

Developed by Melbourne-based startup Allume Energy, it claims the technology is the first of its kind globally.

The technology will be installed in Mirvac’s building in the Apartments of Tullamore precinct in Doncaster with the intention of using it across all assets (including retail and office buildings) if it is a success.
