Australian Ethical has a new chief operating officer, Kim Heng who was previously in a short stint with RT Health and for nearly eight years with Local Government Super as head of  IT and projects. She also spent more than eight years with FuturePlus Financial Services as head of projects and products.

Australian Ethical managing director Phil Vernon said Ms Heng’s appointment would bring the company’s gender diversity at senior management to 44 per cent female. It would also bring “significant operational and industry expertise to the organisation” which would assist the company’s ethical conviction.

“Having a diversified workplace brings a broad perspective that better enables us to service our clients and position us for long-term, sustainable success,” Mr Vernon said.
