The Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute has appointed Anna Rose as an associate.

Ms Rose is an author and environmentalist currently as an innovation fellow for The Myer Foundation, focusing on strengthening the diversity of groups involved in the climate change movement, such as farmers, faith groups and ethnic communities.

She was named Australian Geographic Society’s Conservationist of the Year in 2015, and was national manager for Earth Hour with WWF-Australia.

She also co-founded of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, a movement of young people taking action of climate change.

“MSSI is delighted to welcome Anna Rose as an associate of our Institute,” a MSSI statement said.
