BRIEF –7 April 2010 – The IFMA Foundation is calling for Australian university students to join its inaugural International Student of the Year award program and other related scholarships to be held in the United States in 2010.
Open to students from around the world, the International Student of the Year award program will run alongside the 2010 Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships, aimed recruiting university students completing a degree in facility management (or related disciplines).
“The International Student of the Year award is truly a worldwide competition open to any facility management student around the globe,” said IFMA Foundation Executive Director Will Rub. “It is both meaningful and exciting for the IFMA Foundation to introduce this new award as part of its continuing effort to promote and recognise international FM education.”
For a small application fee – paid by the student’s sponsoring organisation – the entry becomes an active participant in the process of recognising facility management excellence. Applications for the award program are open until June 30, while scholarship applications are open until May 31, 2010.
