“Malcolm Turnbull is right: there’s no future for a Liberal Party that denies the reality of human-caused climate change and the need for early and decisive action to limit that change.

“But a worry for many who accept the need for effective action is that Kevin Rudd’s carbon pollution reduction scheme, especially as amended to (supposedly) win the Liberals’ support, will do too little to change behaviour, reduce emissions and move us towards a low-carbon economy because it’s so weak and so many options have been closed off. “read more>>>
