The Department of Planning & Environment is the lead NSW Government agency in planning for a growing NSW. The Department is going through an exciting period of organisational and operational change.

Energy, Water and Portfolio Strategy is a Division of the Department of Planning and Environment. The Division leads strategic policy, programs and major initiatives that work towards securing, regulating and delivering the state’s energy, metropolitan water and housing.
About the Role:
The Division has been tasked with delivering several new clean energy initiatives; as the Manager Program Delivery you will be required to lead a team to design, develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate multi-million-dollar clean energy initiatives.
Primary purpose of the role:
• Drive a number of new multi-million clean energy initiatives, as tasked by the NSW Government
• Lead a team of approximately 6 project officers
• Establish and manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the development and delivery of programs to achieve priority objectives in the context of the national electricity market, complex policy environment, engaged stakeholders and community attitudes
• A degree in a relevant discipline.
To be successful in the role, ideally you will have:
• Proven experience in program design and delivery
• An ability to be innovative in a complex multifaceted environment.
