Town planner Suzane Becker has been appointed as the new deputy executive director of the Victorian Division of the Property Council of Australia. She will take over from the current deputy, Cathi Taylor in September.
Ms Becker’s hails from a as manager of strategic planning and environment for Macedon Ranges Shire Council and has previously worked with the Metropolitan Planning Authority [now the Victorian Planning Authority], other councils including Manningham City Council and Mitchell Shire Councils and with AECOM.
Victorian PCA chief executive Sally Capp said there was good reasoning in the choice of her 2IC. “We have a significant agenda underway with population growth and housing affordability challenging the planning and taxation regimes in Victoria,” she said.
“Suzane will be invaluable in helping advance the important debates and outcomes necessary to ensure the ongoing affordability, productivity and livability in our State.”
