Energy services company NuGreen Solutions has appointed a new chief executive, non-executive director and additional team members as part of a strategic plan to expand both locally and into Auckland and Christchurch in New Zealand.

As part of the plan, co-founder Paul Schlaphoff has been appointed chief executive.

โ€œWith the expansion and critical mass itโ€™s appropriate to align the business with a robust structure given our international reach, and I look forward to leading the business from strength to strength over the coming years,โ€ Mr Schlaphoff said.

Geoff Gourley moves from the operational role of director, sustainability integration, to non-executive director, and holds a position on the NuGreen Board.

Mr Gourley will be responsible for strategic direction and partnership development. With the introduction of the federal governmentโ€™s Emissions Reduction Fund, he will also assist with the expansion of the carbon credits and rebates business.

โ€œItโ€™s fantastic to see NuGreen growing and as a board we are excited to have a strategic plan to drive the business, continuing to work with our clients as a trusted advisor in the energy efficiency sector,โ€ he said.

Other appointments include Rob Filipovic in a newly created account manager role, and Andrew Easton leading the Western Australia office as technical account manager.

โ€œWe are excited to have secured Robert and Andrew. Their support and expertise will enable us to service even more clients that are making a shift to an energy efficient future,โ€ Mr Gourley said.
