Nikki Potter was appointed BZEโs new senior project manager and will be bringing her extensive executive level experience in both national and international operations across commercial, not-for-profit and government entities to the company. Her most recent role at the Clean Energy Council will allow Potter to bring strategic and operational alignment to BZEโs work around clean technology.
Nick Fleming is now a graduate project officer upon his graduation from a masterโs in public policy and management. Having spent time with BZE as an intern before his appointment, he will now be doing rotations between the research, engagement and communications, marketing and fundraising departments.
Michelle Lee has been appointed BZEโs new communications coordinator after leaving her previous role as the marketing and communications lead at the Australian Energy Foundation. Lee has almost a decade of experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, public relations and marketing in both the public sector and non-profit space.
Another new job announcements came in recent weeks with Lisa Hinde moving from Colliers in Australia to a plumb gig in New Zealand as head of sustainability for Precinct Properties.

The group is hoping for a green star accredited professional with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering that has experience in the ESG building sector and business development capabilities to work with its ESG division of the Pacific team.
According to the company the division aims to improve portfolio resiliency and reduce asset life-cycle costs in its operations across the globe. Youโll need all the usual technical skills. From managing sustainability certifications, developing ESG strategies for clients, able to perform net zero carbon assessments, and assess building management control systems, electrical and hydraulic services and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
SA Power Networks
Energy solutions company, SA Power Networks is looking for a permanent ESG reporting analyst.
The role includes providing data gathering, analysis, enhanced insights, drive continuing ESG performance improvements and support ESG disclosures. Youโll need an undergraduate degree in accountancy, environment science, sustainable development, climate change or other relevant translatable discipline, three yearsโ experience in ESG, financial or professional services, experience in ESG reporting and understanding of the EDG landscape.
