Kate Chaney

25 March 2014 – Wesfarmers’ sustainability team has recently expanded its resources with the appointment of Fiona Lawrie as sustainability reporting co-ordinator. Ms Lawrie was previously based in China in a consulting firm, advising large corporates on water risk.

Ms Lawrie will report to Kate Chaney, manager sustainability and community partnerships who has been in the role for a year. Ms Chaney’s diverse background includes corporate lawyer,  an MBA,  work with the Boston Consulting Group and Perth Airport, before joining Wesfarmers in 2009 first as manager, Aboriginal Affairs, and in 2012 as general manager emerging ventures looking at investment opportunities in high growth industries such as technology.
