BRIEF – 25 May 2010 – Non-profit organisation City Farm are calling for volunteers to help spread the word about the Sydney City Farm, a vision to create a green sanctuary to showcase an eco-friendly future in the heart of Sydney.

Over the next few months City Farm have organised stalls at the Sydney Morning Herald Growers Market, Pyrmont and the Eveleigh Markets, Newtown, with volunteers being sought to help out from morning to afternoon. Those helping out will have an opportunity to meet other likeminded people as well as inform market-goers as to the ambitions of the City Farm and how they too can get involved.

The dates for stalls are:

June19 – Eveleigh Markets, Newtown

July 3 –Sydney Morning Herald Growers Market, Pyrmont

July 17 – Eveleigh Markets, Newtown

August 21 –Eveleigh Markets, Newtown

September 4 –Sydney Morning Herald Growers Market, Pyrmont

September18 –Eveleigh Markets, Newtown
