Jayne Paramor has joined the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) as sustainability manager.
APCO is responsible for delivering Australia’s 2025 sustainable packaging targets, which include taking 100 per cent of packaging reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025 or earlier.
In May, APCO and the Planet Ark Environmental Foundation received $3 million in the federal budget for four new recycling education and resource recovery projects.
Ms Paramor was formerly the deputy director at BoomerangAlliance. She’s also been the executive officer at Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council.
The Future Business Council has appointed Suzanne Paynter as its new chief executive officer. Outgoing CEO James Wright is resigning after two and a half years in the role, but will stay on as a board member.
Suzette Jackson is stepping down from her role as executive officer of Bioregional Australia Foundation, which provides community engagement, environmental training and related advisory service.Ms Jackson will assist the board in the Future Focus engagement and continue as the One Planet Australia lead to the end of August.
She was a founding director and executive officer of the Living Future Institute Australia, and founder and director of Innate Ecology.

Global real estate brand, Stanton Hillier Parker, has relaunched in Australia with Eugene Evgenikos as managing partner. He’s previously held senior roles at Knight Frank and Colliers-International.
The company opened offices in the Sydney CBD and Mascot, and also has a valuation office in Parramatta. It’s also looking to open an office Melbourne.
