Australia now over 3 million people living in apartments. That’s 16 per cent of the population. But despite the rising need for this to work well so there’s support to densify our cities sustainably, strata occupants are forced to negotiate a morass of bylaws and regulations, from the inability to dry clothes on their balconies to conflicts with strata managers appointed by the developer, sometimes embedded for years.
