Event Promotion: Architect Declare’s next event, Sustainable Real Estate – Is It Worth It? will take place in Melbourne on Tuesday, 18 November, 6 – 8:30 pm, at MicDrop Carlton on 333 Drummond Street, Carlton, where they bring together different perspectives to talk about money.

Many of our projects now deal with climate risks – think of bushfires in rural or flooding and the heat island effect in built up areas. Climate responsive design is no longer a nice-to-have but will be integral to our work – and the numbers need to stack up.

This event brings together key stakeholders shaping property value โ€” architects, developers, and real estate professionals โ€” to explore the connection between climate risk, sustainable design, and the commercial potential of climate-responsive development. Drawing on both research insights and real-world experience, the discussion will examine current challenges and emerging opportunities for how environmentally sustainable design (ESD) can become a profitable driver of real-estate value.

For registered architects, the event will attract two formal CPD points.
