Jane Cassidy juggles a lot of competing priorities – and they’re not all in the order you’d expect.
There are the usual topics of aesthetics and the role of architects and how it’s been eroded over the past decades.
But there’s also an understanding of the how critically important architecture will be to the future of our built environment and the range of factors that will impinge on it.
There’s a transformation under way that’s on the scale of the Industrial Revolution, she says.
“We are transforming the way that we think about the environment, the way we think about climate. We’re transforming how people work in their businesses, how organisations are structured, how we relate to one another. We’ve got digital transformation and the emergence of AI.”
