Rob Dagnall

Rob Dagnall has been appointed business leader – building services group for Hyder Consulting’s Australia Pacific region, while Andrew Kyriacou has been appointed director for rail.

Mr Dagnell moves from his position as MEP and specialisms leader and technical director at AECOM. He is a mechanical services engineer with over 20 years’ experience in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. He has held key positions in or led the building services design teams of several high profile, commercial, mixed use, healthcare and transportation projects.

“Rob has a strong focus on clients and understanding of their unique challenges and needs having played key roles in securing and delivering major projects. Hyder’s building and urban development team is currently expanding due to strong client demand and we look forward to his valuable contribution as the team experiences continued growth in this sector,’’ Hyder’s sector managing director for buildings and urban development Anthony Venturini said.

Mr Kyriacou comes from a position as general manager for rail, road and freight group at Vic Track, and has over 35 years’ experience in the rail industry and over 18 years project experience directly associated with rail projects.

“Andrew has a well-established reputation in the rail industry, with strong working relationships with transport related government departments and various franchise operators,” Hyder sector managing director for transport David Teller said. “Hyder is thrilled to welcome Andrew to the national rail team and looks forward to his valued contribution. We are expanding our rail team and expect to see continued growth in the sector over the next few years, and Andrew’s appointment supports this growth.”
