Global design and consultancy firm Arcadis has appointed Louisa Carter city executive for South East Queensland, a position that will lead teams on multidisciplinary and urban regeneration projects.
Ms Carter is a public infrastructure architect and urban planner who has 20 yearsโ experience in architecture, urban design, urban planning, transport planning and cultural heritage, and is soon expected to receive a PhD in urban planning from the University of Queensland.
Prior to her position with Arcadis, Ms Carter was associate director of management and planning Queensland with EMM Consulting, and also spent 10 years as an architect and urban planner with GHD.
