30 January 2014 โ Sustainability consultancy Green Global Consulting has announced ambitious expansion plans for 2014.
Green Global founder and chief executive Bob Sharon today announced a โdramatic increaseโ in staff as well as mid-year plans for new offices in Asia.
Only 18 months old, Sharon says the success of Green Global is down to the companyโs embracement of โThe Startup Movementโ. The movementโs creator Victor W Hwang says that innovation is not โa solo sportโ.
โIt thrives in supportive, diverse, connected, pay-it-forward ecosystems.โ
โItโs not rocket science,โ said Mr Sharon. โItโs about how you treat people, both within your own organisation as well as your customers, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders. Thatโs why weโre such avid supporters of The Startup Movement, which โrecognises that individuals are the only ones who can make the system better through their innovations, inventions, and creationsโ.โ
Sharon says the company has embraced these values and, as a result, in growing at โan exciting paceโ.
The company has already started adding new staff to the roster.
Mid-January has seen Paola D Barreiro Estrada employed as technology research officer, tasked with increasing customer satisfaction while delivering greater benefits to the environmental and economic bottom line.
Kelly Williams started this week as marketing and communications officer. Williams will use her marketing, strategy and business development nous to help bring Green Global a larger audience.
Dave Templeton has also started as national sales and channel manager. Templeton has extensive sales and sales management experience within the IT industry.
โThis is just the start with several engineers โ mechanical and electrical โ to join the growing team this March and April,โ Mr Sharon said.
