Technical services specialist AG Coombs Advisory has appointed four new staff members due to company growth.

Gary Whatling has been appointed NSW/ACT manager; David Oakeshott has been appointed as leader – technical advice (QLD); Alan Caulfield has been appointed as project engineer (fire); and Simon Jokic has been appointed project engineer (electrical).

Mr Whatling is a building services engineer with a strong mechanical and energy efficiency background, and will play a significant role in supporting and developing advisory services in NSW and the ACT. He will be based in Sydney.

Mr Oakshott, who will be based in Brisbane, was most recently energy solutions manager for a specialist mechanical contracting, BMS, engineering and HVAC service provider.

Mr Caulfield, to be based in Melbourne, has a background in performance-based fire safety engineering, and will focus on developing and advising on practical fire safety solutions.

Mr Jokic, also to be based in Melbourne, is an engineer with experience across a wide range of installation types and technologies. His skills include major building electrical infrastructure and installation, and assessing the lifecycle and performance of existing facilities.

AG Coombs general manager Bart Taylor welcomed the appointments.

“We are delighted to have welcomed Mr Whatling, Mr Oakeshott, Mr Caulfield and Mr Jokic to the team, at a time of significant growth,” he said. “Their commencement is a sign of the continued success and growth of AG Coombs Advisory and our ability to provide high value, practical multi-discipline expertise throughout Australia.”
