BRIEF – Sydney, 8 February 2010 – Frasers Property Australia today announced it had received approval for a public park at its $2 billion six star development project at Sydney’s Broadway.

The 6500 square metre  Central Park, as it is to be known,  is intended as a key component in the redevelopment of the Carlton &United brewery site site, touted as one of Australia’s most sustainable new mixed use projects.

Designers are to be Turf Design and Jeppe Aargaard Anderson Landscape Architects.

The $4 million public park is to include extensive lawn areas, footpaths and seating, plus related infrastructure including new public roads, footpaths and traffic signals.

Frasers said the park was the third project application approved for the site. Another four are have been lodged with the NSW Department of Planning.
