11 June 2013 — GetUp!, an independent not-for-profit organisation is holding an Election Vision Survey 2013.
The survey asks people to rate a number of issues in order of priority.
The first includes asks for a ranking of the top three environmental priorities in the lead-up to this election from:
- Promoting Australia’s clean energy future with more renewable energy
- Protecting the carbon price from repeal
- More ambitious action to reduce climate change impacts
- Protecting Australia’s native forests
- Stopping the harmful practices of coal and coal seam gas mining
- Protecting the Great Barrier Reef from industrial developments
