14 May 2013 โ The Green Building Council of Australia will host Green Building Day 2013 to Melbourne on Friday, 7 June.
Green Building Day 2013 will explore the future of the green building industry in Australia, the trends, the predictions and the latest market insights and industry opportunities.
Some highlights of the program include:
- Findings from the GBCAโs first ever quantitative research into the impact of Green Star on the built environment over the past 10 years
- Bruce Precious of GPT will present on the CSIROโs predictions on the six megatrends that will impact the sustainable building industry over the next 20 years
- Representatives from some of Australiaโs most successful green building project teams will take questions on the road to 6 Star Green Star success and share their tips on everything from engaging, to trouble-shooting, to managing expectations.
Speakers include The GPT Groupโs Bruce Precious on global megatrends and the property sector, GBCAโs Orjan Lundberg the real impact of Green Star, GBCAโs Robin Mellon on The policy behind the project โ Governments and Green Star and GBCAโs Jorge Chapa on Green Star, the next generation.
There will also be a panel discussion on โWhat does โworld leadershipโ look like? How to write a six star success story.โ
The event will be held at the University of Melbourne Brain Centre Auditorium.
