29 May 2013 — Private sector investment is being sought for the Quarantine Station site at Point Nepean National Park on the Mornington Peninsula.

An expression of interest process for the site has been announced.

Environment Minister Ryan Smith said terms of up to 99 years would be considered for appropriate tourism developments in national parks, depending upon the scope and quality of investment proposals.
