13 March 2013 — Andrew Whitson has been elected as president of the Victorian Division of the Property Council of Australia.
Mr Whitson is the general manager of Stockland’s Residential Development (Victoria and NSW) where he has worked since 2008.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in residential property development and investment working throughout metropolitan and regional Australia as well as in Asia and Africa.
“My key priorities for the next two years will be the development of a detailed State Election policy platform, continued integration with the retirement living sector and the provision of engaging and educational industry events,” said Mr Whitson.
“Shaping the final design and objectives of the Metropolitan Planning Strategy is also a high priority, as is securing a fairer tax deal for Victorian property owners and investors.”
