The conference returns in 2024 with the theme, ‘Building Momentum for a Sustainable Future’. This year celebrates 25 years of NABERS, providing an opportunity for our industry to come together to reflect on a rich history of driving progress, as well as looking ahead to what action we can undertake together to reach a more sustainable future.
Attendees can expect to hear from an impressive lineup of speakers from across government, business and industry, including leading urban futurist Lucinda Hartley, environmental town planner and sustainability specialist Melissa Neighbour, Assistant Minister Climate Change and Energy Jenny McAllister and Secretary for the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water Anthony Lean.
Topics to be explored at the conference include:
- Practical and achievable steps to reach a net-zero future
- Unpacking the circular economy and what we can learn from global leaders
- The rise of sustainable finance opportunities
- Insights into new NABERS products and innovations and how this will build momentum for a sustainable future
