Decades of international experience shows that, when enabled by supportive policies, Community Land Trusts (CLTs) can produce a diverse range of stable, perpetually affordable and appropriate housing options for people priced out of their communities. They can also channel the voices of residents and the broader community into thriving, innovative, and high-quality placemaking outcomes. The Australian sector is well poised to learn from and build on this experience.
