Melbourne’s 6500 hectares of new green space

Brief: Melbourne will get 6500 hectares of new parkland, walking trails, bike trails, pocket parks and dog parks in suburbs like Officer, Clyde, Craigieburn, South Morang and Carrum.

This is equivalent to more than 170 Royal Botanic Gardens.

The $154 million towards green space Melbourne was allocated in last week’s Victorian budget.
