7 July 2011 – The Australian Conservation Foundation will open its head office in Melbourne – the award winning 60L Green building – during an open house of sustainable buildings from 30-31 July.
The pioneer of sustainable commercial office buildings in Melbourne, the 60L Building is one of 75 sites open to visitors as part of the open house weekend on 30-31 July.
Activities at 60L at 60 Leicester St, Carlton, will include a sustainable seafood seminar and tastings, meeting “dirtgirl” from ABC TV’s pre-schooler program, dirtgirlworld, and talks on issues including carbon pollution and the future of the uranium industry following the Fukushima disaster.
