15 May 2013 — Flying Start, a program developed by John Goddard & Co to help commercial property owners attract tenants to their rated buildings, has received the Sustainability Initiative of the Year at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Oceania Commercial Property Awards.

The judges said the program, developed with the Green Building Council of Australia, met the criteria of “innovation, professional and customer care, talent development and ethical standards” and was likely to be successful in the marketplace.

The RICS Commercial Property Awards were expanded this year to take in nominations for sustainability projects.

Other nominees for the Sustainability Initiative of the Year were WT Partnership and CBRE.
