Former head of energy trading for ANZ Bank Gary Wyatt has joined Corporate Carbon Advisory as an executive director.
During his time with ANZ, Mr Wyatt built the bank’s market trading desk covering the local and international environmental and carbon certificate markets.
Mr Wyatt is also a former consulting engineer, with a master’s in electrical engineering and a bachelor’s degree with honours in financial mathematics.
His talents will be put to use at CCA in expanding the firm’s activities in trading and financing of carbon abatement certificates under the government’s upcoming Emissions Reduction Fund, exact details of which are still pending.
