15 January 2014 – The newly-incorporated Centre for Organic Research and Education has appointed Eric Love as chair. Mr Love is also the chair of STAR Water Solutions, co-chair and founder of EC Sustainable, Secretary of the Stormwater Industry Association NSW, Director of the Organic Federation of Australia and a member of the NSW Organic Ministerial Advisory Council.
CORE is a research and marketing network for those engaged in the resource recovery, organic and clean-tech sectors. A range of activities are planned for this year including promotion of International Compost Week in May 2014. Mr Love’s key tasks with CORE include engaging with local government in strategies for reducing organic waste going to landfill through the development of composting operations and increasing compost usage rates.
