Regional precincts

Linda and her business partner Kirk Tsihlis from TrueGreen are planning to adaptively reuse and redevelop an entire mixed-use precinct in the NSW regional city of Bathurst, about three hours west of Sydney. According to Linda this project, over 8000 square metres in floor area, will incorporate Bathurst’s oldest mill from the 1850s and number of heritage buildings that will be restored and incorporated into a new vision that will dramatically raise the profile of Bathurst. The city is already well served by strong cultural and economic infrastructure such as a university, the Bathurst 1000 car race, and a well-regarded art gallery. The area has also long been a favourite of artists such as Brett Whiteley, Sydney Nolan and Margaret Olley and others who flocked to the nearby towns of Hill End and Sofala.
