Allan Hunter
Allan is a retired engineer with a background in the defence sector as a support engineer; qualifications including electrical, reliability, and systems engineering. Current interests include researching the technical and economic aspects of backup power supplies and renewable energy in disability housing, bringing both lived experience and technical expertise as a board member of Australian Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Association (ARATA), and developing new skills in investigating and questioning some of the decisions made behind the scenes by well-connected and influential vested interests in the building industry.
