Alexander Kobler has been appointed sustainability project engineer in Wood and Grieve Engineer’s Sydney office.
The appointment is in direct response to demand for local sustainability expertise, a WGE media statement said.
Mr Kobler is a sustainable design consultant with a background in mechanical engineering and knowledge of Green Star, BASIX, NatHERS, NABERS, and Section J requirements, and was involved in the Green Star submission for the 6 Star Green Star 200 George Street.
“Alexander brings advanced knowledge of sustainable buildings and design to our team based on years of experience,” WGE sustainability section manager in Sydney Nicholas Johnson said. “Combined with his multi-disciplinary design experience across commercial, residential and retail developments, this gives our clients a real advantage in obtaining pioneering sustainability results on projects.”
Mr Kobler said providing a positive client experience was his “driving force, and the primary way to achieve or surpass sustainability targets.
