Susette Dixon has been appointed NSW branch manager of Advisian, the independent consulting arm of WorleyParsons.
Ms Dixon has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, focused on major project delivery of road projects, including design and construction of mechanical and electrical systems, tolling systems and traffic management, through to operational readiness, completion and environmental management.
Prior to her appointment, she was leading the delivery of a roadmap for the redevelopment of the Circular Quay ferry wharves, and was planning director for the WestConnex M5 project.
“When we began searching for our new branch manager, we knew we had to have someone of high calibre – someone who understood what was required to make the role a success but also had a strong vision for our future,” Advisian managing director Asia Pacific Stephen Porter said. “We interviewed local and international candidates and it quickly became apparent that no one could match Susette.”
Ms Dixon said Sydney was a good place to be due to unprecedented levels of expenditure on infrastructure.
“It’s a particularly exciting time for Advisian as we grow the business through extending our range of technical and advisory expertise and leverage our global knowledge.”
