Multi-disciplinary design firm Scott Carver has appointed Angela Biddle and Esther Dickins as directors.
Ms Biddle and Ms Dickins join Doug Southwell and Andrew Turnbull as directors, and Rodney Paesler as managing director.
Ms Biddle has been principalof interior design at the company since 2016, while Ms Dickins has been principal of landscape architecture since 2015.
Mr Paesler said he was excited to welcome the two to the board.
He said Ms Biddle’s appointment recognised her contributions to the culture and design spirit of the company.
“It also recognises her role in having built an enviable interior design team, which the market is truly excited about.”
He said Ms Biddle’s appointment recognised her “considerable insight, strength and stability through growing a larger, and more qualitative landscape architecture team”.
“Importantly for me, I am excited to welcome two female members to the board, completing a business goal to achieve gender diverse leadership and gender pay equity at all levels of the business,” he said.
“I am also excited because for Scott Carver to genuinely be known as a leading creative design studio, we must be genuine about the calibre and gender diversity of our leadership.”
