Patrick Carpenter

Consultancy Cundall has appointed Patrick Carpenter as the lead of its Australian acoustics team, based in Melbourne.

Cundall has been in the acoustics services game since 2014, starting in Sydney. However demand in Victoria has demanded a Melbourne presence, with Mr Carpenter to meet this demand while also expanding the business in the region.

“Acoustic services compliments our building services engineering and sustainable design team offerings,” Cundall director Garrit Schot said. “We have seen a number of clients value this added service so have made the decision to appoint Patrick here in Melbourne.”

Mr Carpenter has been in the acoustics industry since graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physics) in 2005, and then working as a senior acoustic consultant with Marshall Day Acoustics.

“I am looking forward to expanding the acoustics team and work alongside an innovative global acoustics team who not only are leaders in the field, but are also pushing the boundaries with their innovations like the [Virtual Acoustic Reality] system,” Mr Carpenter said. “I have previously worked alongside Cundall on a number of projects and I am excited to join their team.”

One reply on “Patrick Carpenter to lead Cundall’s Australian acoustics team”

  1. We have had acoustic issues in an existing building on multiple floors and we can not find a decent engineer with decent resources. Plenty of “one man” treatment specialists out there, very few will guarantee their work. I just happened across this and am quietly grateful. the costs of getting any acoustic issue repaired is significant, especially in existing tenancies.
Acoustics it definitely a “niche” industry.
