The role will involve leading Sydney’s resilience building efforts, bringing together stakeholders from across greater Sydney to establish a vision of a resilient future for Sydney, creating innovative responses to resilience challenges faced across the Sydney metropolitan area, and inspiring stakeholders to collaborate to deliver a robust, inclusive and action-oriented resilience strategy. The successful applicant will have experience working at a senior level in, or with, local or state government; experience managing cross-sectoral projects; and a comprehensive understanding of Sydney’s major social, environmental and economic risks and opportunities.
