Architecture, urban design and planning firm Architectus has made four new appointments amidst ongoing growth.
In the Melbourne office, Brett Simmonds has been been appointed senior associate, workplace; and Paul Trinchi has been appointed associate, education and design.
Mr Simmonds has come across from Woods Bagot and has particular experience in workplace design, having led the Plenary office fit out in Melbourne and the NAB Brisbane workplace fit out.
Mr Trinchi has come from Cox Architecture, and has 15 years’ experience mostly in the design of education and rail projects. He was project associate for the Sky Rail – Level Crossings Removal Program Caulfield to Dandenong and Melbourne Metro RIA.
In Sydney, Lynne Hancock has been appointed senior associate, urban design; and Lisa Thornton appointed group business development and submissions manager.
Ms Hancock has more than 20 years’ experience delivering urban design frameworks, master plans, precinct structure plans, and design controls and guidelines. She has a special interest in integrated land use, transport and urban design projects.
Ms Thornton enters the new role of group business development and submissions manager to support the team and further grow Architectus’ list of clients and projects.
Architectus managing director Ray Brown said the latest appointments reflected the company’s continued growth and expanding expertise.
