NuGreen Solutions has recruited two new staff, Sean Sweetser and Yuri Golod for its energy efficiency and solar business, as part of the company’s expansion in New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania and new offices in offices in Christchurch and Auckland, in New Zealand.
Director, Geoff Gourley said the move was despite uncertainty surrounding threats to the Renewable Energy Target.
“We are excited to have secured Sean and Yuri, their support and expertise will enable us to service even more clients that are making a shift to an energy efficient future. With uncertainty around the RET and various government grants and funding being cut, we remain confident the shift to a more energy efficient future is here to stay”.
Mr Sweetser is commercial solar manager and will lead the solar division for the company. He is a member of the Clean Energy Council, has PV Solar grid connect design accreditation and has more than 15 years experience, including with with Todae Solar, Solargain and Dataworks Australia.
Sean said, “I am really pleased to join the NuGreen team; they are such an exciting company”.
Mr Golod is technical coordinator. He is a lighting designer and engineer with a background that includes project work for BUPA, Melbourne Tower, Victoria Police HQ, Melbourne Airport, DEPI and COX Architects, and work with Darkon, About Space and Caltex.
He said, “It was NuGreens’ strength and excellent industry reputation attracted me to the join the company”.
