Solar storage company Redback Technologies has appointed Mike Haines as general manager of sales and marketing, and James Sturch as technical marketing manager.
The Brisbane based company said the appointments represented its investment in Australia and commitment to local companies amid a period of growth.
Mr Haines has 25 years of experience in the industry, most recently at Enphase Energy as the EMEA retail sales director and regional sales director of Southern Europe and Middle East.
“I’m looking forward to working with Redback Technologies and their exciting innovative technology to lead the way in the renewable energy sector in Australia and enabling solar installers and homeowners to realise the potential and savings of the Smart Hybrid System,” Mr Haines said.
A statement from Redback said Mr Sturch also had “extensive experience in the global renewable energy industry and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise”.
Founder and managing director Philip Livingston said he was thrilled to have the new recruits on board.
“I’m delighted to welcome Mike and James to our team which has over a century of experience in renewable energy generation, engineering, manufacturing, software development and energy market regulation.
“We will continue to invest in accelerating the momentum of our solutions and partnerships to address the energy storage and management needs of Australian homeowners.”
