ClimateWorks is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to lead a range of applied research and policy reform projects seeking to transform energy use and emissions from Australia’s buildings and put the sector on a pathway to net zero emissions.

The Opportunity

ClimateWorks is a leading independent, non-profit organisation acting as a bridge between research and action, to enable new approaches and solutions that accelerate Australia’s transition to net zero emissions by 2050.

The Project Manager will work with a large degree of autonomy to deliver high impact projects, under broad direction and oversight from the Implementation Manager, and in close consultation with other ClimateWorks staff and external stakeholders. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of projects, which may include: scoping, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, in-house research, management of external consultants to deliver research elements, report and other content development, presentation of results, broader project administration.

This is no ordinary project management role. In addition to proven experience in managing projects independently, you will have knowledge of the key issues relating to energy and emissions in buildings, the drive, resilience, creativity and agility to successfully navigate the challenges inherent to complex projects, and a commitment to learning and collaboration.

If you believe you have the relevant background to undertake this role, we welcome your application.

Your application must address the selection criteria. Please refer to “How to apply for Monash Jobs“
