John Huggart has been appointed general manager of consultancy services at energy management consultancy Energy Action.
Mr Huggart was the inaugural chief executive of Pooled Energy, an electricity retailer for swimming pool owners that offered up to a 30 per cent discount on energy bills. Before that he was general manager sales and marketing for Alinta Energy and group manager at Origin.
Energy Action chief executive Ian Slavich said he was confident John would be a great asset to the team.
“John brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the energy industry and is an outstanding leader and motivator,” he said.
