Responsible investment is a growing sector and an increasingly important one for The Fifth Estate to keep tabs on, including with job movements.
Latest on that score is a shift by Pablo Berrutti from Colonial First State Global Asset Management after seven years as head of responsible investment Asia Pacific to a new role Stewart Investors, Sustainable Funds Group.
His role as an investment specialist is part time so he can put some more energy into his side project, Altiorem, which is a library and resources centre for sustainable finance. It’s due to launch later this year.
Mr Berrutti is also the deputy chair of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia. He’s also on the management committee of the Investor Group on Climate Change.
Dr Ingo Kumic, the strategic advisor, city strategy and development city futures for the Knox City Council, is part of a working group for the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative, which has been established to set out a roadmap for realigning the finance sector to support greater social, environmental and economic outcomes for the country.

Back in the built environment sectors, Michele Leembruggen has joined Sustainability Victoria as project advisor for the Zero Net Carbon Homes Program.
She was formerly senior sustainability officer – green buildings with the City of Melbourne.
The Property Council of Australia has appointed Ross Grove as its regional director for Western Sydney.
Mr Grove has most recently served as a senior policy advisor with the City of Parramatta Council and as a Councillor with Cumberland Council. He has spent the last decade working with stakeholders across all levels of government.
Stockland has appointed a new sustainability manager Amy Hogan has been with the company since 2015, but has been promoted to national manager – group sustainability. She was formerly national sustainability manager – retirement living.
