Andrew Mather’s Integral Group Sydney Australia has been in operation for just under a year and already it’s grown to 14 strong.
But Mather, who became managing director of the new company after a long stint with WSP and most recently as regional chief executive and managing director of WSP Asia Pacific, says he’s not finished yet. He’s looking to hire more talent, namely a BIM (building information modelling) coordinator and “some people in hydraulics, sustainability and electrical.
“So, we’ve built up the mechanical team quite strongly and now we’re looking for these,” Mather says.
Within three years the plan is to get to 200 which would be a sizeable chunk of the global outfit of around 500 currently, but by then Mather says the parent company will be at about 1000.
The company’s clients, he says, are among “the more sustainable developers,” such as Grocon, Lendlease, Mirvac and Frasers.
