Housing is ever on the horizon as a critical issue, and lately it’s become a hot political potato with its implications for the property industry and the never ending clarion call for more supply in order to create more affordable housing (even though developers shore up vast tracts of land waiting for prices to rise so they can maximise profits).
If these notions and challenges stir you up, then you might want to consider taking a look at the jobs on offer at the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute, which is looking to fill a number of roles at present.
Included are: manager, research program to manage the flagship National Housing Research Program, and a research analyst to draw on their “rigorous research skills and understanding of public policy to deliver customised research projects to a range of clients across the government and non-government sectors”.
Both positions are based in Melbourne based. Check the website.
