Brenda Kingston has been appointed WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff deputy regional director for Victoria.
Ms Kingston will work with regional director Tim Gosbell to oversee continued growth in the state.
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff managing director, property, environment & resources; vice president, Asia Pacific Andrew Mather said Ms Kingston was promoted from within the business.
“Brenda was the first female appointed as a director in the heritage WSP business – she started with us as a mechanical engineer in 2003 and now is a technical director in sustainability,” Mr Mather said.
“Her commitment and leadership within the industry is so strong that clients ask for her by name.
“With Tim’s expertise in the transport sector and Brenda’s in the sustainability sector, we have a leadership team that reflects the diversity and strength of our business.”
Significant projects Ms Kingston has worked on include 720 Bourke Street, Melbourne; the University of Melbourne Faculty of Economics and Commerce (Spot building), Carlton; The Olivia Newton John Cancer & Wellness Centre; and the Cardinia Shire Council Office Building.
